Yes guys, as most of you will have heard, DWP are proud to announce that they have now finished the construction of their very own purpose built dance centre. It’s situated at Olympia House, London Road, Preston, PR1 4BA. With a huge main ballroom of over 170 square metres and a smaller studio, this is one of the North’s largest dance centres. The studios are equipped with the latest sound and lighting, enabling us to continue to produce British Champions and put on dance events. There is a massive floodlit car park on site with 24 hour CCTV security. We will be running classes at the studio most nights, in most forms of dance - from Salsa to Ballroom, from Rock’n’Roll to Street Dance, from Latin formation to Ballet, and much more. For a full program of our classes click the flyer.

2007 British open Juvenile Formation Champions... That's right DWP came away with the Juvenile 4 Couple title. An amazing achievement considering the team only started 8 months ago. A lot of hard work has been put in by the children and trainers which include Jason and Shemayne, Debbie and Rachel. Also we had great results in the juvenile 6/8 couple where we came 6th out of 18 and in the Junior 4 couple we gained and incredible 9th out of 23 which was unbelievable as six of the eight dancers had never danced a step 7 months ago. If you wish to join any of our formation teams please contact us. |

DanceWithPassion had a great time at the Britfest. Everyone really enjoyed our classes and the children gave a great performance. Thanks to all involved, and here's to next year!!!! The DanceWithPassion Juvenile Team seen here with the Swing Guys from Italy, were very proud to be asked to perform at one of the worlds biggest salsa congresses, the BRITSALSAFEST held at the Empress Ballroom in Blackpool & hosted by SALSA UK and SALSOLOGY. There were dancers from all over the world in attendance. The team performed on the Saturday night with some of the biggest names in world of salsa. On the same billing as Iris de Brito they were the only British performers on the night. Not only did they perform, but they were asked to open the show case which was a great honour for them. The performance brought the house down and set a great tone for the night ahead. |
